Respawn Entertainment, LLC is an American computer game growth studio started by Jason West and Vince Zampella. West and Zampella formerly co-founded Infinity Ward as well as developed the Call of Task franchise, where they was in charge of its growth till 2010. The workshop produced the Titanfall first-person shooter collection that debuted in 2014. Respawn was acquired by Digital Arts on December 1, 2017. The workshop established the action-adventure game Celebrity Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, which was launched in November 2019, as well as the free-to-play battle royale game Apex Legends, launched in February 4, 2019. Respawn developed Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond, launched on December 11, 2020, for which it came to be the very first computer game designer to obtain an Academy Award.
